What problem are we trying to solve?
The first step in setting up Feebee was to define the problem we were trying to solve. We knew that feedback was essential for employee growth and development, but we also knew that giving and receiving feedback could be difficult and uncomfortable. We wanted to create a tool that would make it easy for teams to give and receive feedback in a constructive and productive way. Once we had defined the problem, we started to develop a solution. We conducted user research to understand the needs of our target market, and we brainstormed different ideas for how to design a feedback tool that would be easy to use and effective.

Market fit and test with users
Once we had a prototype of the Feebee platform, we started to test it with users. We were able to get feedback from a variety of teams, and we used this feedback to improve the design of the platform. We also started to build a community of users who were interested in using Feebee to improve their feedback culture. We continued to test Feebee with users throughout the development process. This feedback was invaluable in helping us to improve the platform and make sure that it met the needs of our users. We also extensively did market analysis and testing to understand how the feedback landscape is and how competitors address similar areas.

Designing for Slack
Feebee is designed to be used in Slack, so it was important to us that the design of the platform would be consistent with the Slack interface. We also wanted to make sure that the platform was easy to use and navigate, even for users who were not familiar with advanced slack integrations.

Growing the customer base and CX
We developed a brand that would be associated with feedback, growth, and development. We also wanted to use LinkedIn to connect with potential users and partners. It's an ongoing challenge to build and grow a community, that can happen only by being consistent with tone of voice and visual appeal, as well as covering topics that people can relate to and find helpful.

Web app
We know growing teams have the need for insights. For the People/HR team, a web app with analytics can help to measure the effectiveness of feedback, identify areas for improvement, track trends, and communicate feedback data.
